Os Gêmeos (Portuguese for the twins), the two Brazilian brothers who made a name for themselves as painters on the streets of Sao Paulo, had their first solo art show in the US at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art.
The attendees were in for a real treat, discovering some of their most powerful pieces displayed in a “white cube” museum context as opposed to their usual crazy colourful gallery installations.
The brothers brought pure fun to the ICA with about 15 huge colourful works that are already feeling like timeless masterpieces.
If you stop by Boston, the show will be running until November 25th at ICA Boston – 100 Northern Avenue.
