Vhils New Mural in Araçaí Village, Brazil

Alexandre Farto aka Vhils is currently in Brazil where he is visiting Guarani tribe in Piraquara region where he was working on a collaborative installation with the tribe craftsmen. 
The works they created will be revealed today at Caixa cultural in Curitiba, Brazil as a part of the show that will stay on view until May 11th. The installation consist of 54 wooden doors etched with indigenous motifs and portraits of the locals. The portraits are including 18 inhabitants of the Araçaí community, like this strong piece carved on the wooden forest house in the Araçaí village.
