Tomorrow night curators Justin deDemko & Andrew Lockhart will be hosting the opening reception for their newest group show “PROCESS” at the Great Jones Space featuring both established and up and comers Lala Abaddon, Ibrahim, Ahmed III, Kevin Baker, Lacy Barry, BAST, Christopher Beckman, Drew Conrad, DotDotDot, David Ellis, Nick Farhi, Erik Foss, Micah Gaugh, Jason Gringler, Maya Hayuk, Matt Jones, Pryce Lee, Micaela Mclucas, & Ostrich.

Tomorrow nights opening event will feature mostly original works mixed with some very limited variant prints.  Of course you can look forward to seeing new original pieces by NYC legends such as Bast, but it’s worth the subway fair alone to see the modern creations by lesser known contributors like Lala Abadon and Pryce Lee.

These pictures as always can not do the works justice.  Many of the pieces are not just straight forward paintings or prints.  Many are woven together, or use unorthodox processes or mixed media which in person jump of the “canvases”.

In particular check out Erik Foss’s canvases created partly with toilet paper, LaLa Abadon’s “Tightweaves”, and Pryce Lee’s cracked mirror.

Tomorrow night expect to discover your new favorite contemporary artist, and enjoy new works from some old favorites.
