Brett Amory at Lazarides Solo Show ‘Intentional Abstractions’ 13th January

Intentional Abstractions marks Brett Amory‘s first solo show in the UK. The exhibition comprises of a collection of paintings based on a Amory’s ‘Waiting’ series, which focuses on travelers waiting on undergrounds, subways and platforms. The project began in 2001, and as it progressed the subjects ceased to be exclusively travelers, with the emphasis shifting to anonymous figures within the urban landscape.
