Invited by Pawnworks, Arts Collinwood and Amy Callahan, LNY recently stopped by Ohio to work on a series of new murals in the Collinwood neighborhood of East Cleveland.
LNY (Lunar New Year) is an artist defined by borders and hybridity. He creates drawings and murals that question politics, injustice and public identity by often making visible the stories of those who are invisible to the cities he works in. His murals are a combination of mythological animals, portraits and secular iconography.
