Young New Yorkers, an arts-based restorative justice program for 16- and 17-year-olds with open criminal cases, is hosting it’s second annual art benefit to fund this year’s workshops and sponsor the participants. This project has taken a lot of time and energy to develop into the completely grassroots organised beast of an event they have planned for Oct 16th starting at 6pm at Allegra LaViola Gallery – 179 E Broadway, NYC.
The work collected here is a reflection of the artists’ generosity and social awareness when it comes to bettering their environment.
