Our friend MP5 recently stopped by Switzerland to paint this beautiful piece somewhere on the streets of Lugano.
This large-scale mural is entitled “Open God” and is inspired by the greek Myth of Ganymede. Ganymede was abducted by Zeus from Mount Ida. Ganymede had been tending sheep, a rustic or humble pursuit characteristic of a hero’s boyhood before his privileged status is revealed. Zeus either sent an eagle or turned himself into an eagle to transport the youth to Mount Olympus.
Take a look at more images after the break and then check back with us soon for more exclusive updates from MP5.
