Alberonero creates a new mural in Catanzaro, Italy for Altrove Festival

One of our favorite European festival this season is the Altrove Project which is currently taking place on the streets of Catanzaro. The latest piece is yet another stunner with a brilliant intervention by Alberonero.

One of our favorite European festival this season is the Altrove Project which is currently taking place on the streets of Catanzaro. The latest piece is yet another stunner with a brilliant intervention by Alberonero.
Located at the Dante Square (Materdomini district, Catanzaro) which for the past 40 years has the inscription “Porco Benvenuto” overlooking the scene. The legend talks about a group of man that make a human ladder to write as high as they can. Today, Alberonero work, is a praise to this little challenge, a joy of 158 different colours that orderly move on one cold and hot sloping level. This colours strengthen the relationship between architecture, landscape and the area’s history.
