C215 recently visited Rabat in Morocco as one of the artists included in the “Main Street” show @ Mohammed VI modern and contemporary art museum organized by PrintThemAll studio. During his stay in the city, the French artist couldn’t miss the opportunity to leave his signature mark on the streets.
Painting a series of smaller stencil pieces all on created on post boxes around the city, C215 introduced some new, locally themed images as well as some of his classics. Depicting local people that can be seen on the streets of Rabat, Paris-based artists created sort of monument to these regular people. Using bright yellow color as a background, black and white for stencils, and couple of shades of blue for accents, the works are blending perfectly with the surface they are painted on, as if they were essential part of it.
Check out more examples of C215’s pieces in Morocco after the jump, and stay tuned for more news from Africa and around the globe.
