After years of battling illegal graffiti, one of Prague’s busiest metro stations, Andel, recently got beautified by local graffiti artist.
Jan Kalab was invited to paint the panels covering the construction of their new elevator system, and he decided to invite another 3 of his graffiti friends – Michal Škapa aka Tron, Pasta Oner and X-Dog. Working on their pieces over night, when there is no crowd around, the artists recently finished their signature works that will stay on view until fall when the works are planned to end. According to artists, it seems that the public loves their works, so this might be the big moment for the graffiti / metro system relationship.
Check out more images from the first legal graffiti / art in Prague’s metro system and come back soon for more interesting news from around the globe.
