Lush’s “Celebrity Takeover” in Hosier Lane, Melbourne

What an interesting week it’s been for Melbourne street art. Soon after the snapchat fight between Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Taylor Swift, went viral, Melbourne artist LUSH whipped up a controversial memorial piece to Swift in Hosier lane, with the face updated with a character and text changed to Harambe, and then yet again altered – this time with Kanye’s face mysteriously appearing.

The story of the changing face in Hosier lane proved to go viral itself with news articles in the Vogue, Herald Sun Acclaim Mag, BBC News and Yahoo news, US Magazine, Buzzfeed. Lush also posted two videos on Instagram account which at the time of this post had nearly 100,000 views…
