Alberonero just sent us some images from the latest piece he completed in the city of Castrofilippo in Sicily, Italy.
Entitled “Distance, 158 Tones”, the Italian artist objective was to maintain the shape of these buildings as he found them because they represent the 70’s typical architecture of south Italy. It was very important for him to respect, highlight and increase this aspect. Using the colors, the artist broke the integrity of the architecture giving it a new life. This piece is only about the abstraction, it doesn’t mean anything, only imperceptible sensations.
