Argentinian artist Fransisco Diaz aka Pastel spent a few days in Paris where he just completed a seven storey mural with his floral signature imagery.
Based on the feedback of the residents, Pastel created a bespoke composition in which flora and natural landscapes are both descriptive and symbolize the place and events that marked it. Snowberry or Symphoricarpos albus plants and purple aster flowers can be found nearby the building. Using a range of technical drawing techniques, watercolour and gouache the artwork is an harmonious balance of organic and figurative pieces. It can be seen on 63 rue des plantes in the 14th district of Paris. The project has been curated by Artenville with Olivier Landes.
