Only few days before heading to London to open his solo show with Lawrence Alkin Gallery, Sepe painted this secret mural in his hometown of Warsaw.
Polish artist introduced slightly new imagery with this piece which is sharing the same title as his upcoming show – “The Golden Age Of Grotesque”. Still using his sketch-like style, the new piece features darker characters and feels more raw and expressive than what we’re used from him. The image is introducing the new body of work which is focused on capturing the dynamics of modern society and extinction of individuality, shown through metaphoric use of masks, costumes and ancient robes and outfits.
Feel free to leave your opinion about this new piece after the jump and come back soon for more news from Poland.
