Imagine if we moved art from museums to be displayed on the streets? That is the whole aim of Outings Project.

Imagine if we moved art from museums to be displayed on the streets? That is the whole aim of Outings Project. Initiated by Julien de Casablanca, the project tries to make classic paintings accessible to as many as possible. The premise is simple: go into a museum, take a picture of a painting, print it out, and put it on a wall in the street.
The French artist just visited the Louvre Museum where he found an artwork which is now living giant-sized on the streets of Paris.
Take a look at more images after the break and if you are in the area, you’ll be able to find it on 86 Rue Saint Honore, Paris 1er.
