Mohamed Lghacham just sent us some images from two technically impressive pieces which he recently completed with Alba Trench on the streets of Airola in Italy.

Entitled “El cumpleaños de Mimmo” & “Si Stava Meglio Quando Si Stava Peggio”, both pieces were painted for the “In Walls We Trust” street art project.

Concerning the first piece, in Italy it is an old tradition to portray the child with his birthday cake and a bottle of wine. The protagonist is “Mimmo” and the group of people in the picture are his relatives.
For the second artwork, Mohamed likes the idea to represent the everyday life of common people in the street as they are the ones that will be seeing it every day.  In the street where the second piece is located, many elders have been living there for most of their lives and the artist found the idea interesting to paint a picture that reflects something as simple as a person who reviews his photographs to relive through past moments. In an of smartphones and digital work we somehow lost that intimate moment.
