French street artist OakOak is currently in Ostend, Belgium where he was invited to create several new site specific urban art pieces for the locals to enjoy.

Hailing from Saint Etienne, France. He transforms mundane objects using cleverly placed, humorous doodles. He is inspired by the cartoons such as The Simpson’s, Futurama, and Calvin and Hobbes. Oakoak’s favorite artist is Amedeo Modigliani.

For The Crystal Ship Festival, the artist already created several new pieces including references to Street Fighter, The Simpsons and Classic NES video games.
