Our friend Artur Shirin, recently completed a series of unusual canvases on the streets of Kaunas in Lithuania.

Hand-painting 5 old “Škoda” trolleybuses in the city centre, the Lithuanian street-artist created a series of animated murals that feature some of his signature illustrative imagery. Each theme is based on old items from Kaunas city that used to be produced locally. One animated artwork consists of 12 hand-painted frames.

Fun, funky, bold, vivid and on top of that animated, these new pieces will surely be enjoyed by the local residents for years to come.

Take a look at more images and animations below and keep checking back with us for more street art updates from Europe and beyond!
