Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada recently stopped by Manama for Alwan,  a festival introducing Bahrain’s up and coming generation of conceptual artists.The Cuban American contemporary artist painted this monumental charcoal piece depicting a traditional Bahraini fisherman, one of a few hundred that are left.If you ever stop by Manama, this one can be seen in Adleya’s Block 338.
