Yesterday in London, British artist Penny opened his first solo exhibition titled “Economy Of Scale” at the Rook & Raven gallery.
In the beautiful gallery’s space, the attendees were in for a treat discovering Penny;s signature intricately-cut stencils, mixed media works on currency, taxidermy butterflies, and some behind-the-scene pieces with process works and stencil skeletons.
Penny’s work is just mind boggling. He manages to paint a 20 layer stencil on a piece that is only 4cm wide. No laser cutting, just amazing skills.
If you stop by Rathbone place, make sure to check out this great show which will be running until June 21st.
