Mr Thoms recently opened a solo show @ Galeria Varsi in Rome, curated by Marta Gargiulo. Titled Talking Walls, the show is including a wide range of new indoor works that the Italian artist created for the event. With his familiar playful imagery, cartoon-like characters and creatures, Mr Thoms created a new body of work with an idea to reproduce his wall pieces from around the world into outdoor art pieces. Painting on paper, canvas, found objects, and exhibiting both paintings/drawings as well as sculptural work, the works are showing his massive talent and diversity. The main idea behind this show is to unfold everyday life through reflections and interactions based on his ability to play with space.
