Our friend Axel Void recently stopped by Turin, Italy where he spent a few days working with us on this new screen-print for Mission To Art.
The Mission To Art project brings an eclectic line-up of painters to Turin to paint various murals and work on several exclusive prints, the proceeds of which are then used to fund this unique artistic program.

Axel Void and the staff worked together in an experimental way to try and translate to paper the traditional pictorial image of his original “1944” paiting. The goal was to obtain a closer approach to the visceral oil paintings using the screen-printing technique. The Spanish artist also hand-painted “1944” with extra details making each print unique.

“1944” is an edition of 35, it measures 50 x 70cm and is a 5 layer hand-pulled screen-print on Hahnemuhle 350Gsm paper. It has been hand-painted with extra details and signed and numbered by the talented artist.

“1944” is now available in our store right HERE for £120 each.
