Ernest Zacharevic just wrapped up a large new piece in the Satwa district of Dubai as part of the first phase of the Dubai Street Museum Project. The project is organized by Brand Dubai and curated by Rom Levy and Sanaz Askari.

Working around the curated theme of “The Past”, the Lithuanian artist spent several days in the city developing his concept. After organizing a photoshoot with several Emirati Children, Ernest created this concept showing 7 figures as the 7 emirates, all united and running toward the same direction. The Children are also playing using a traditional Emirati game consisting of a bike wheel and a stick.

Take a look below for more images and if you are in the area, you’ll be able to discover the piece on 2nd Of December Street.
