Graffiti artist Revok, was sentenced Monday to 180 days in jail, the judge decided that he had violated his probation’s terms from a previous vandalism conviction.
Revok appeared yesterday in a Van Nuys courtroom where he was found to have violated his probation by failing to pay adequate restitution to his victims, according to prosecutors.
Revok was arrested last week at LAX on his way to Ireland by a sheriff’s transit team that specializes in catching vandals.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department is conducting a wide investigation on Revok and :
“As a result of evidence discovered during his April 21 arrest, other incidents of vandalism were found in the county of Los Angeles,” said Capt. Mike Parker.
Bad news for MOCA’s “Art In The Streets” where Revok’s work is currently on display.
Once again the persecution of street artists in LA has to stop!
