Bast “Scenario Del Rio” Newcastle Solo Show Coverage

Last night in Newcastle opened Bast new solo show “Scenario Del Rio” at Lazarides.
This is Bast first ever exhibition in Newcastle where he presented an incredible new body of work, great looking pieces and big sizes.
The “Storybook” pieces features great details and colours and are well worth to see in the flesh.
These pieces are scenarios, hence the title ʻScenario Del Rioʼ. The ʻDel Rioʼ is a diner off Cheapskate Bay which has all sorts of folks coming in and out, they must have some scenarios going on. Plus,” he says in his broad New York accent, “I chose it because I love words that roll off the tongue.”

The show runs until October 15th at Laz Newcastle
