After showing you AEC’s piece a few days ago, it’s time to share what the other half of Interesni Kazki WAONE has cooked up in Catania, Sicily.
Painting on a silo, the Ukrainian muralist delivered yet another fantastic surreal artwork entitled “Eternal Reccurance”. It took nine days for WAONE to complete this 30 meters high silo.
The “Seeing Eye of Helios” with solar shine, running on the “Sandglass of duality” is his interpretation of one of the most ancient solar symbol and a symbol of passage of time known as “Triskelion”. According to ancient greek mythology, “Triskelion” is also the symbol of Trinacria better known as Sicily. Helios was the Titan god of the sun, he was also the guardian of oaths and the god of gift of sight.
