Moroccan artist and muralist Tima, born Fatima Ezzahra Khilad, has completed “It’s Always Tea Time” in Eslöv, Sweden, for Artscape Eslöv 2026.
The new wall centres on what the artist calls a “little lady,” developed through several days of painting and close attention to small details. Tima describes watching the figure gradually come to life on the wall and become part of the city as a particularly sweet experience. The work takes its title from the tea-time spirit that carried through the week, while its imagery draws on a reference by Salma El Idrissi.
“It’s Always Tea Time” arrived during Artscape’s late-August return to Eslöv, where eight new murals were made across the city. Tima painted on Västerlånggatan, near Malmgatan, joining an international group of artists working across the festival’s 2026 edition.
Tima’s practice often returns to memory, childhood and dreamlike feminine figures. Here, that sensibility meets Eslöv’s street: an intimate character scaled into the city, shaped by the artist’s affection for the process and the people around it.
