Edition Populaire just released Dran‘s 6th book ‘I LOVE MY WORLD’.
Dran hails from Toulouse, South West France and is one the most exciting street artists out there at the moment.
The star of Picture On Walls  latest art show ”Marks&Stencil’s” delivers one of the best book this season.
‘I LOVE MY WORLD’ features thirty original artworks that can be viewed at Marks&Stencils(Covered), Dran delivers quality with his explosive universe.
We loved how the book doesn’t feature any text but only contains the original works.
There is no need for additional descriptions with Dran, the images speak for themselves revealing wonderful nuances of texture, expressive characters and faces.

Compared to the Originals currently on display at Marks&Stencils each page very accurately reproduces the canvas and cardboards that dran used with each background being different with small pieces of newspaper and other goodies.
Edition Populaire produced the book with in hardcover with heavy quality pages that reveal the beautiful details of each piece.

From funny situations to serious subjects, Dran gives us an outstanding modern look at our society.
You do not need to be an art expert to enjoy this book, anyone that browses through will find something to cherish.
The underlying theme is a protest against our society, from men and women relationships, family problems, rich versus poor or religion. Dran draws the portrait of our modern times.
Dran makes an eloquent case for just how expressive his style can be, while also demonstrating the dimensions that his humor can bring to an art object.

We can only recommend Dran’s ‘I LOVE MY WORLD’ for any book collector or art lover, 64 pages that will definitely find a revered spot in your collection.
This is his best book to date and a beautiful object, Dran will be an artist to watch out for in 2011!
