It was only a matter of time until sites like eBay became a bigger part of what can now be considered this state of street art madness. This week we discover, that for $100 you can own a small scrap of a mural that Shepard Fairey painted in New York. On a public wall.
The mural scrap in question comes from the Deitch wall, but its not hard to spot other Fairey works around the streets of both New York and LA. We’ll be keeping an eye on this auction, but the question is.. Will you bid? (but please don’t!)
