Today in Paris, Takashi Murakami opened his new solo show titled “Homage To Yves Klein” at Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin.
This new body of original works is a reference to the well know French artist “Yves Klein” considered as a pioneer of the Nouveau réalism movement.
This new series of work features abstract colour works inspired directly by Mr Klein, amongst these pieces the show also features his more traditional skull and flowers motif with his hyper colourful paintings.
If you are stopping by France, the exhibition runs until January 7th in Paris.
