Earlier this afternoon, SAN stopped by the opening of “Imaginary Friends”, KAWS (aka Brian Donnelly) new exhibition in Paris at the Galerie Perrotin.
After an original unveiling at Harbour City in Hong Kong followed by a trip to The Aldrich Contemporary, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Standard New York, the 16-foot KAWS Passing Through Companion finds yet another home in Paris for “Imaginary Friends”.
The exhibition also showcased a series of giant Chums and five beautiful large-scale canvases where the abstraction meets precision, creating a unique composition.
If you stop by Paris, the show runs until December 22nd at 76 Rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris
