Following the Banksy announcement about his plans for October just over a week ago (covered), a new piece by the street art superstar has now been discovered allegedly in Chinatown, New york City.
This time Banksy’s piece shows two children dressed up in early 20th Century outfits, climbing on top of each other in order to reach for a spray can from a “Graffiti Is A Crime” sign. This stencil is entitled “The Street Is In Play”
We’re yet to find out if this piece is a taster of the British artist’s grand plan for October, but check out another shot after the break and stay tuned with us for more Banksy related news as it happens.
Update: Banksy has now revealed his “Better Out Than In” project which will be an artists residency through New York City during October 2013. The first piece can be found on the East side of Allen by Canal in Chinatown. Visit banksyny.com for more info and stay tuned to Street Art News for fresh updates.
