Miss Van was recently invited as the 165th artist to paint the legendary M.U.R. of Oberkampf in Paris. After 3 days of working in different weather conditions, meeting old friends and making new ones, Barcelona based artist finished her mural titled “Bien Bonitas de Paris”.
Showing her signature female characters, dressed in vintage corsets, stockings, and showing their curves, the piece is having all the elements of her work. Using only brush and her recognizable pastel colors accented with bright yellow, red and turquoise, this mural has the soft feel of Miss Van’s canvases and works on paper. Beautiful yet provocative, this piece will surely turn some heads until July 12th when it’s getting replaced with a new piece of street art for this ongoing project.
Check out more photos of this piece after the jump, and stay tuned for more news from Paris coming soon!
