Sandra Chevrier is producing work that unites a feminine gaze with heroic expression, creating powerful and metaphorically androgynous art. Her colors are sharp, and her tools peculiar; Chevrier uses paint and actual comic book strips to produce mixed-media illustrations of women. This mural was painted as the first part of the Aftenblad Wall project that Nuart is doing with Stavanger Aftenblad newspaper. The idea of the project is to commission a new art piece every 3 months.
