Lek & Sowat are currently in Gagliano del Capo, Italy where they just finished painting a whole-car for Villa Medicis.

Paying homage to Marcel Duchamp with a reference to R. Mutt, the French duo brought to life some of their futuristic imagery in order to completely transform this old train. The collaborative piece is entitled “A StreetCar named Desire”.

After painting the train completely in black, we covered one of its side and roof with driping white tags and golden ornemental abstraction. On the other one, we used the moniker Marcel Duchamp taged his famous 1917 ‘Fountain’ piece with, to create a minimal ‘R.Mutt’ piece.

As usual more images are awaiting for you below so take a look and then make sure to drop your thoughts down in our comments.
