POW! WOW! continues to extend its mark through more cities across the world. We’ve just received two brand new recap videos retracing the works created this year in Washington D.C and SXSW in Austin.
POW! WOW! DC was lead by local artist Kelly Towles. Of the 17 participating artists, at least four were from Washington DC: No Kings Collective , Decoy , and Matt Corrado . Other artists flew in from as far as Hong Kong (Caratoes), Honolulu (Jeff Gress), London (INSA), and Australia (The Yok).
POW! WOW! SXSW brought together local and international artists, all of whom helped to transform blank walls throughout Austin into large public works of art. The paintings were completed throughout the week, and took place at Lamar Union, Lustre Pearl East and more. This year’s artist lineup included Madsteez, Esao Andrews, Fafi, Jasper Wong, Kamea Hadar, Jeffrey Gress and many more
