Dubai-based street artist eL Seed is currently in Ajman, UAE where he recently started working on a large new mural located in the city-centre.
Assisted by Na7t and despite the scorching heat, the talented artist has been hard at work to create another of his signature calligraphy-based artwork that has been appearing all over the world in recent years.
French, Tunisian artist eL Seed is one of the leading practitioners of calligraffiti, an artistic style that blends the historic art of Arabic calligraphy and the modern art of graffiti. Born to Tunisian parents in the suburbs of Paris, eL Seed spent his formative years juggling different—and often conflicting—cultures, languages and identities. Today eL Seed’s pieces emerge from the collision of two cultures, which clash and blend to form a new aesthetic identity.
