Taylor White’s latest show, Physical Phenomena, opens at ABV Gallery, Atlanta, Saturday May 26.

White’s body of work is inspired by the human form, and she draws much of her source material from the dance community. “I’m excited to present my first Atlanta solo exhibition Physical Phenomena at ABV,” says White. “This show will include a collection of all new paintings and drawings, a current summary of my ongoing exploration into the chaos of being by way of the human form, dynamic color experiments, and dramatic abstraction.”

“Physical Phenomena continues the conversation surrounding the fundamental elements that constitute the structure of being. Our bodies are interpretive structures designed to grapple with formless potential, and, through our capacity for action, to bring forth habitable order. This work explores the way in which we experience the formless chaos of potential through being, and how the order we inhabit can sometimes dissolve backwards into the incredible complexity from which it emerged.”

The opening reception for Physical Phenomena at ABV is held on May 26 from 6 – 10 p.m. RSVP free admission at https://taylorwhitephysicalphenomena.eventbrite.com.
