ZEBU has completed a mural on the gable end of Caen Tu Bosses, a shared-workspace building in Caen, France. The Berlin-based duo painted the wall for the 2026 Palma Festival, bringing one of the event’s commissions into a place used by workers and seen by its neighbors each day.

Caen Tu Bosses had announced a September 21–27 painting period. After the mural was finished, the workspace described watching its shapes and colors appear over several days. ZEBU thanked the neighborhood for the “kind words and positive feedback” they received while working, as well as the festival team for its invitation.
ZEBU is the partnership of Lynn Lehmann and Dennis Gärtner, founded in 2015. Their practice spans illustration, graphic design and painting; Berlin’s Urban Nation museum describes their work as moving between figuration and abstraction. The Caen project places that practice on an occupied building rather than a wall set aside solely for art.
Palma Festival ran from September 23 to 27, 2026, with murals among its visual-art and music programme across Caen. ZEBU’s mural can be found at Caen Tu Bosses, 6 Rue Fresnel.
