The German artist spent a few days working up high on his cherry picker to create these large-scale murals showing some of his signature hyper-realistic hand-based imagery.
The idea behind the artworks is the completely different ways that can be used to reach one point. This point is the 3. European are beginning counting with the thumb and americans beginning with the pinky. What you have is a difference how it looks if the hand shows the number 3. This Metaphor can use actually for several actions. Racism for example which is a big problem in Europe especially in certain parts of Germany. Racism in general is like this picture. There you have a difference in a color (the way of counting) but the human (The Number 3) is the same with all the strengths and weaknesses.
