Our friend 1010 was also in Miami for Art Basel 2015 which took place last week-end. Since 2009, 1010 has been creating these mysterious, portal-like street art illusions on walls all around the world.
In Miami, the German street artist created a huge mural that is layered in colors; orange, blue, grey, purple and black. The paper-like layers descend into darker colors until it feels like you’re looking into a dark abyss.
1010’s original artworks were also shown by Hashimoto Contemporary with a booth at the Miami art fair project.
