Our Irish friend Fin DAC has been having some fun painting at a place called The Nursery for Upfest in Bristol. Taking his lead from his surroundings he’s produced a very playful mural that many attending the festival didn’t even realise was his work: the painted face mask being the only real sign of his usual style.

The piece pays tribute to two important artists: Bristols most famous export Banksy and FarkFK a friend and mentor to Fin DAC in his early days.

“Henrietta’s Homecoming’ is the end result: a playful take on Banksy’s ‘Girl with a Balloon’ that depicts a childlike version of the Manga character once painted by his old friend Fark in the guise of ‘the girl’. Incorporating some very famous Bristol housing, faux torn wallpaper and a balloon in the shape of the house from Pixar’s ‘Up’ movie that utilises the chimney from the real house into the design. Phew… thats a lot to take in!!!

If you stop by Bristol, the piece can be found at 68 The Nursery.
