In 2002, Space Invader created and installed “LA_56”, a tribute to Shepard Fairey and the OBEY campaign in the middle of Los Angeles. As friends, Space Invader and Shepard Fairey collaborated on a piece in Griffith Park, Los Angeles in 2018. OBEY keeps this partnership going with our first clothing collaboration. A range of hooded sweatshirts and t-shirts that help show the friendship between these two artists.
The main graphic Invader chose for this collection is “LA_56” which can be found on both the hooded sweatshirt and t-shirt. There is also a t-shirt showcasing the Water Tower collaboration from 2018, and finally only 300 posters with the Icon Face symbol exclusively at their OBEY Clothing Paris store on Thursday, April 4th at 11AM.
The rest of collection will be available on Friday, April 5th, 2019 available at their flagship stores and online.
