Italian artist Millo recently spent some time in Ukraine where he was invited to create a new mural on a wall of juvenile penitentiary in Kremenchuk for Back to School Ukraine curated by Seth Land and Oleg Sosnov with the support of UNICEF Ukraine and Sky Art Foundation.

The power of imagination is the key to never stop dreaming and encouraging the development of our own potential.
The power of imagination is that force that guides us to follow our inner dreams and having trust in the possibilities of life.
I create this wall with the aim of giving hope and strength to all of those who are living a difficult journey.

The wall is located in the Kremenchuck juvenile penitentiary that hosts around 40 teenagers prisoners from 14 to 22 years old who have committed different crimes.
The penitentiary for the inmates is a special place of education and everyday life where there is a strong belief and desire to help these teenagers, who are gonna spend there from 1 months till 8 years, in the process of their growth and adaptation to the adult life.

Back to School Ukraine project is devoted to children and has the aim to create murals in schools, nursery schools, institutes and even in the juvenile penitentiaries.
The goal is to bring art to children who live in remote corners of Ukraine and are experiencing poverty, war or detention.
The project strongly believes that only with the help of not indifferent people is possible to create a little miracle for our children.
