Dutch pop-surrealist artist Leon Keer is back with a new 3D mural in Helsingborg, Sweden for the 4th edition of ArtStreetHbg (ArtStreet Helsingborg). The towering mural features china teacups that are about to tumble out of its shelf. Each teacup was painted with a different scene intended to draw attention to the dangers and effects of climate change on the environment.

Leon Keer shared his artwork together with the quote “As fragile as the cups is our earth.” Moreover, according to the artist, this artwork will soon come to life with elements of augmented reality.

Leon Keer is a specialist in creating anamorphic street art. The 3d effect caused by this technique is only visible from one viewpoint. The artwork invites spectators to grab their phone and interact with the art. His app connects Augmented Reality with the anamorphic art. By scanning the painting with your smartphone or tablet, you can see how the painting will come to life.
