Spok is a Fine Arts graduate that has developed his craft for over 20 years. In that time he has created more than 30 public artworks and exhibitions in over 10 countries.

Spok discovered graffiti as a kid in the early 90s and with much perseverance, created his own style between 1994 and 2003, ‘bombing’ walls and trains while representing the TBC crew. From his beginnings up until today, he has kept the same high quality in his pieces, both on walls and in his studio, while also experimenting with colours and forms, always searching for something new.

Due to the constant evolution in his style and technique, Spok is highly regarded for his originality and authenticity in illustration or décor, as a muralist and even in academic painting. Never replicating murals or canvases, he mixes lettering with mechanical and robotic references, creating playful imaginary characters.

Spok is an intriguing artist interested in everything that surrounds him while avoiding reality only to capture it and turn it into a better version. His work is recognized by a fantastic background and a language with hints of humour that stands out from the rest. With a hyper-realistic technique and large formats, Spok manages to establish a dialogue with his viewers that leaves no one indifferent.

He has numerous prizes and has worked with the likes of the TATE Modern, Wynwood, Museo Thyssen, Instituto Cervantes, Somerset House, Adidas and Absolut.

Born in Madrid where he lives.

A mural “Al Final Todo se Reduce a Esto” what means  “In the End It All Comes Down to This” was made for the Contemporary Muralism Museum of Mérida (MUMCO).

All part of the book that tells the history of the neighborhood, which Spok used as an ironic reduction coefficient in the title.
