Lonac recently spent a few days working on this impressive animated piece at a secret location in his hometown of Zagreb. Mixing the stop animation technique we’ve seen used by the likes of Blu or INSA, along with his impressive hyper realistic painting, the final result is going viral as we’re typing this. And well deserved if we may add!

Finished as a pre-Valentine’s day piece, the image is showing anatomically realistic human heart pumping blood through vessels. Using the piping on the ceiling as a part of the work, Croatian artist added a nice perspective element to his work. With his masterful spray can control and sharp eye for hyper realism, each frame of this impressive video is a small masterpiece on it’s own. Lonac recently told us that more similar projects are planned through 2016 so we’re looking forward to that. In the meantime, he will be working on his 1st official print release which will be announced very soon.

Take a look at couple of process shots after the jump, and stay tuned for more updates on Lonac’s animated mural series.
