Well known for his satirical drawings, the candor of his performances, and his representative lines, Dran is a singular and outside the norm artist. Lonely and mysterious but above all, he rigorously selects the people to collaborate with and the places to exhibit his work. Fleeing any recovery from evil spirits, which is scarce. This exhibition is a landmark event.
The exhibition “Tiens” will bring together a series of brand new paintings and unpublished drawings by the artist from 2015 to 2016.
From ‘A’ of ‘Abécédaire’ to ‘Z’ of ‘Zèbre,’ dran shows realistic scenes that only his acute sensitivity is able to make with humor and irony. As usual, there is so much to discover.
His exhibition invites us to lose ourselves into his colorful and joyful universe, he offers the idea to be curious, to re ect about affections and emotions.
Dean will also be Releasing his new book “ABCD’air” showcasing 64 color pages from some of his pieces that are part of the exhibition. Copies signed and numbered by the artist will be available during the opening night and a special hand-finished print edition will also be available.
