While we last heard from him in Indonesia, Seth Globepainter is now back in China for the Back To School Project.
The piece was painted in the town of Chang Ping, a city mainly populated by Tibetans in the Sichuan mountains close to the Tibetan border. The French artist asked the school kids to draw “their” mountain which was used as a background. The main character is a young girl wearing traditional Tibetan clothing.
This piece is part of the 15 artworks which are painted in schools around China for the Back To School Project which is curated by Seth himself.
