Francisco Diaz aka Pastel just wrapped up a large new piece somewhere on the streets of Ostend in Belgium for the excellent Crystal Ship Street Art Festival.

Entitled “Eternal Present”, the Argentinean muralist brought to life some of his signature plant-based imagery for the local residents to enjoy. In his compositions flora, fauna and natural landscapes are both descriptive and conceptual tools that represent a place and symbolize the events that marked it, resulting in artworks that stand as contemplations of the dialogue between mankind and space, and the confrontation between industry and the natural world.

The talented artist incorporates a range of different methods and mediums in his artworks creating a harmonious balance between different styles and techniques characterizes his organic, figurative pieces.
